Jan & Dean: Legendary Masters Series

JAN AND DEAN were real clowns. I saw 'em on the TAMI Show back in 1965 and they were the only downer part in the whole fantastic thing – bopping around on their stupid skateboards. They always tried so obviously to be funny that you just wanted to throw a pie in their face and kick them off the stage. Sure, Lesley Gore was great (same show, spelled T-A-M-I). But Jan & Dean stank.
