WITH THE initial success of King Floyd's 'Groove Me', Soul music spotlighted the relatively small town of Jackson, Mississippi, and the record's producer, Wardell Quezergue. King Floyd further established himself with 'Baby Let Me Kiss You' and the people at Malaco Studios in that city turned their attention to creating a new talent.
