WITH SO much interest in the Philly disco sound, Detroit has been put pretty much into the shadows as far as dance music is concerned during the past couple of years. But now the city is making a revival and one of the motor city sounds that has brought about this revival is 'The Phone's Been Jumping All Day', a lively record that marks the chart debut of Jeannie Reynolds. However, it is not Jeannie's first record – that honour goes to her one and only release on the Chess label, 'You Ain't The Only Man', which was released just twelve months back.
