Jerry Lee Lewis: London Sessions (Mercury).
Charlie Gillett, NME, 10 March 1973
IN SOME ways, it hardly matters what this record sounds like. It's the idea that counts. If everything works out more or less to plan, the LP will make the top 20 in the American album charts. What happens to it in Britain isn't so important, because there's a big enough faithful audience here already. But in the States, Jerry Lee is still something of a has-been, and what he needs is a little prestige.
