Jesse Colin Young: The Troubadour, Los Angeles

Jeff Walker, Music World, December 1972

JESSE COLIN Young was a folkie at about the same time we all were. Years of New York City existing, some passionate living in a fairly passive world, a group of people singing old songs and writing new songs with old ones. Country Balladeering came to the city and found a home in many a city-bred lad. During that time Jesse Colin Young made an album called Soul of a City Boy. It still stands as one of the classics of that era.
