Jimmy Cliff: A Lion Out There

VETERAN JAMAICAN singer Jimmy Cliff finally achieved international status for his leading role in the seminal reggae film The Harder They Come in the early '70s. Prior to this he had already made his mark in Britain and Europe as one of the only Jamaican singers to accomplish some measure of prowess outside of sectarian West Indian circles.
