YEAH, KING of the Laid-Back and all that bananas, but it goes a little deeper than that cos, even though he probably spends more time on his backside rolling joints than a three-toed sloth gets to loll over a branch (and, as if you couldn't guess, the title-track was recorded "on the back porch" of his Oklahoma home), J.J. Cale, is, spiritually at least, a genuine highway chile.
