JOHNNY OTIS, the renaissance man of rhythm and blues, is somewhat ambivalent about entering his ninth decade. "I have two kinds of feelings," he concedes. "Number one, I think I'm lucky to come this far. On the other hand I think, who the fuck needs 80 years!"
