Kiki Dee: I've Got Music in Me
Bob Woffinden, NME, 11 January 1975
THIS ALBUM RIDES out with a crescendo of powerful, robust rock, as the band and Kiki pull out all the stops. The song in question, 'You Need Help', has tremendous vitality, is well-constructed and produced, like the rest of the tracks, to perfection by Gus Dudgeon. It's the sort of climax that provides unarguable proof that this album has got what it takes, and Kiki Dee can at last come in from the cold.
