Knight Life: Curtis Knight
Michael Gray, Let It Rock, June 1974
JIMI HENDRIX FANS will be familiar with Curtis Knights name: hes the man who found Hendrix down and out in New York in 1965, gave him a guitar and a place in his band, got him his first recording deal, and cut some tracks with him mostly of Knights own songs not only before Chas Chandler brought the guitar-star to London, but again when Hendrix returned to New York in 1967, having well and truly conquered Europe.
