LARRY HEARD has always been the most low profile of the original house music pioneers. Although his name has graced some of the deepest, most innovative music of the last seven years, Heard's career has seemed sporadic and unpredictable. For instance, last time he surfaced in the UK was in mid-1990 with The It, which was basically a brace of spoken dissertations set to moody music.
