Led Zeppelin: In Through The Out Door (Swansong)
Nick Kent, NME, 11 August 1979
THREE LONG years has it been? Let's me see now. Ah, yes Presence, released in April 1976, was the last shot of new Led Zeppelin music and then well, there was that dreadful live album to tie in with that dreadful film and a most decidedly star-crossed American tour in '77 punctured by all manner of nasty rumours, one exceptionally ugly fight purportedly involving one of Bill Graham's employee and several Zep figures, and then suddenly curtailed with the tragic death of Robert Plant's 5 year-old son.
