EMERGING FROM the Stiff tour as little more than a suspicious record company packaging job with a clever line in Spanish lace, Lovich is now developing a persona which owes less to promotion fancies, and is beginning to mould her sense of style with a determination to establish her previously overlooked musical sensibilities.
