For a long time, its shockwaves obliterated thought altogether. That was the great thing about it: it was anti-matter, it vaporized everything that wasn’t immediate, sensual and cool. Western Thought & the Military Industrial Complex, like a pair of dyspeptic bishops, looked on in horror while rock held its end-of-the-world party.
