Linda Ronstadt on Emmylou: And Then There Were Two…

CHRIS HILLMAN, who'd introduced Emmylou Harris and Gram Parsons, played matchmaker another time: Backstage at a concert in Texas, he put the newcomer together with Linda Ronstadt, telling them, "You two could be good friends." That was in 1973, on Neil Young's Time Fades Away Tour (Ronstadt was the opening act), and 23 years later they remain as close as sisters. Thanks, Chris.
