BILL PAYNE is a little freaked with L.A. rock fans. Clearly tired from the strain of Little Feat’s four night stand, he is really looking forward to splitting for Europe for dates. The Stones and the Who, among others. The band is now on a three week tour of the States and Payne was philosophical about his reception in the Big Banana.
