Lowell George: A Feat Of His Own
Mark Leviton, Blank Space, December 1978
FOR YEARS, fans of Little Feat have heard rumours about a solo album being prepared by Lowell George, the group's main songwriter, lead guitarist and singer. But almost constant touring has forced Lowell to work on his own project in little pieces, and after years of work his disc is finally being released. Titled Thanks, I'll Eat It Here, the LP offers the same sort of eclectic songwriting and superb mixing of styles that have characterized Lowell's best work with Little Feat, but in a context that Lowell can call his own.
