Lowell George: Thanks I'll Eat It Here (Warner Brothers)

THE REAL name of this album is 'Thank You! I'll Eat It Here!' which was the original name of Little Feat's Sailin' Shoes and applied, obliquely, to the Neon Park cover painting of a disconcertingly feminine piece of cake swinging of a garden swing. A rather pointed visual pun on the notion of having one's cake and eating it, with the overtones perhaps a trifle too risqué for the sensibilities of the time.
