THE IMMINENT RELEASE or this, the first solo LP by Little Feat mainstay Lowell George, was a rumor in good standing among certain segments of the rock world for a good three years. George's songwriting contributions to Little Feat have tapered off recently (now, in fact, the group has reportedly disbanded) and many figured that the rotund slide guitarist was hoarding the cream of his personal crop for this solo effort.
