In 1990/91, LUSH were the original Female Fronted Rock Band, godmothers of Sleeper, Elastica and Echobelly, all spiky guitars and Oxfam glamour. Then Suede and Oasis came along and they stopped being the Indie People's Choice. Until now! 'Single Girl', as you're probably already aware, is Lush's first big hit.
