Magic Triangle: The Edgar Broughton Band
Mick Farren, International Times, 11 April 1969
THE EDGAR BROUGHTON BAND came to London from Warwick in November of last year and have, in relatively short time, gained a solid reputation as one of the most promising progressive blues bands. This blues tag, however, is one that they particularly dislike. "I don't like the word: blues is a thing you have, it is not a sound. We are really doing our own thing which is mainly free and improvised with other influences as well as blues."
