THE FOUR million music journalists present at Mansun's big "triumphant" London show, tongues loosened by EMI's beer, tell me repeatedly that it's not OK for music journalists to like Mansun. They're a tired, outmoded rock band, apparently a cross between The Police and Birdland, with two good songs, a dodgy name, and a massive promotions budget.
