Mark IV
John Abbey, Blues & Soul, October 1972
I MAKE no apologies for stating that Mark IV's 'Honey I Still Love You' is by far my favourite record of the moment. Equally so, whenever I like a record to this extent, I will always do my utmost to track down the artist/s in the belief that a better interview will be conducted when a sincere admiration for the work of the artist/s in question is genuinely there. The situation certainly worked on The Independents and Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes, who are the artists on my other favourite records of the year.
