Martha Wainwright: Martha's Extending The Musical Family

MARTHA WAINWRIGHT has a pedigree that could be daunting. She's the daughter of Loudon Wainwright III and Kate McGarrigle (of the McGarrigle Sisters), sister of burgeoning pop star Rufus Wainwright and something of a late bloomer. With both parents, an aunt and a sibling holding down secure seats in the folk, pop and singer/songwriter traditions, Wainwright thought long and hard about going into the "family business."
