SOMEHOW ONE forgives the sermonising in Marvin Gaye that irritates in other soul stars. Visually he fits the bill – he might almost be the king who brought the myrrh. And his approach to telling us about the animals and the flowers (and the birds and the bees) is – well, it's so cool!
