Medicine: In The Proper Dosage

Erik Himmelsbach, Los Angeles Reader, 8 September 1995

BRAD LANER needs to stand up. After a half hour of kneeling against his bed in a sort of praying position – simultaneously answering questions about his band Medicine and rolling enough cigarettes to support a black-market economy in Bosnia – he breaks his roll-smoke-talk routine to address an issue that requires more emoting than kneeling can provide, doing his best Mike-Love-at-the-Rock-‘n’-Roll-Hall-of-Fame imitation in the process.
