AT A SESSION last week for Bobby Keyes' album, Jim Gordon, Dave Mason, pianist Nicky Hopkins, Felix Pappalardi on bass and Leslie West on guitar are all there and the music is flying. Suddenly Bobby Keyes slumps against a wall, turns to Felix and says in his deepest cotton pickin' tones:
