I FIRST MET MRS WOOD on a trip to BCM in Majorca. The manager had flagged up his attractions outside the club in four-foot letters: Fat Tony and Mr Wood. However, when he met us Fat Tony turned out to be very thin indeed and Mr Wood was not only a woman called Mrs but an unmarried one at that.
