MOST MUSIC industry professionals will argue that receiving press is more a matter of business than it is a desire to be in the limelight, but in a sound-byte driven landscape that ignites opinions like a fan generated crowd-wave at a sporting event, no one is immune to the compulsion to capture his "15 minutes." Sooner or later, every person in, or who wants to be in the music business, will inevitably attempt to influence the proverbial point person in that process: the music journalist.
