Neil Young: His Solo Odyssey
Jacoba Atlas, Circus, June 1970
"MAYBE SOME group will come along and be big, you know, but who cares. It's just happened so many times now," said Neil Young in the beginning of 1969, a couple of months before he joined the group that came along and made it big, CrosÂby, Stills and Nash. Neil had gone solo, adamantly turning his back on the group thing, reiterating all the things he had said right along in his career about not wanting to be in a group.
