Neil Young: Mirror Ball
Ben Thompson, MOJO, August 1995
It revolves slowly and with a dignified air of formality, and when light shines on it you get a strange dappled effect. That effect, for all its undoubted cheesiness, can be relied upon to fill you with romantic hope for the future, even to suffuse your entire being with a surge of profound well-being and unwarranted emotional involvement. Thus it is with the mirror ball, and — a minor miracle — thus it is with Mirror Ball.
