Oasis: live at Earls Court, London (27th September 1997)
Will Self, Independent on Sunday, October 1997

The minute that Liam Gallagher reached the centre of the enormous, cod-Surrealist set at Earl's Court, I knew that we were in a situation of life meld. He was dressed entirely in white, stretchy clothing, which made him appear as he if were wearing a colossal Baby-Gro. Wrenchingly giving birth to the words: "All my people right here right now – d'jewknowhatImean.... "
