Pet Shop Boys/Bad Lieutenant: NIA, Birmingham

FIRST SEEN in Britain six months ago, the Pandemonium world tour feels even more dazzling second time around. Even though every pre-programmed note and choreographed gesture was familiar at this Pet Shop Boys gig in Birmingham, there was still much to savour in its extraordinarily rich mix of sound and vision, arty glamour, dry wit and brilliant stage design.
