Pete Namlook is one of the more remarkable figures of 90s electronic music. Since December 1992, he has released over 150 albums on his own labels and collaborated with Bill Laswell, Mixmaster Morris, Biosphere and other honour roll members of the global Ambient community. David Toop "spoke" to him via fax machine about the influence of science and nature, music that lasts a lifetime and changing more than just chords.
