ONE OF the mystery men of the U.S. recording scene is currently here in Britain following the interests of his artistes. His name is Phil Spector, and by now just about everyone interested in the recording scene will have heard of this offbeat young record producer. He's appeared in Ready Steady Go and Juke Box Jury – in the latter he spoke with disarming frankness – and to my mind truth.
