Poison Girls: Total Exposure (xntrix)***½
Phil Sutcliffe, Sounds, 9 January 1982
POISON GIRLS' music doesn't tell you anything new. Barely evolved from the ugly end of punk it grinds or charges along with an oppressive grimness I've never welcomed because I find it neither enjoyable nor a stimulating setting for messages which you wouldn't expect to enjoy but are interesting, even compulsive, given a chance.
