A MONTH ago, in Minneapolis, mecca of absence, I had time on my hands – all over my body, actually – to consider the idea of nudity. As I sat in my hotel room, attempting to shut out a view that consisted only of other hotels, I wondered whether the notorious shyness of Prince Rogers Nelson might not be related to the concept of being naked.
