Rick Derringer: Giddy With Spring Fever
Michael Gross, Circus, June 1975
RICK DERRINGER's Manhattan home reflects nothing that might he called "rock star chic". Though his stereo set-up is large and an acoustic guitar may occasionally sit behinda chair, the antique-filled, tastefully decorated dwelling is mercifully unpretensious. Liz Derringer offers her visitors a drink, leads them into a comfortable den which faces nou onto a tree-lined street and moments later the master of the house appears in a T-shirt and jeans carrying a screwdriver and a few pieces of wood.
