IT'S NOT a question much asked, but what if Messrs Page and Jones had managed to secure the services of their first choice, Terry Reid, as The New Yardbirds' singer instead of having to make do with West Midlands hippy Apollo Robert Plant and his mate John Bonham? For starters, we wouldn't have had to wait so long for an album like this.
