Rock and Rage: Alanis Morissette Sings Her Heart Out
Lucy O'Brien, Sunday Express Magazine, 22 November 1998
THERE IS SOMETHING quite disarming about the way Alanis Morissette slips into the room. The 24-year-old rock star has sold 28 million records, she has toured the globe, and owns a huge, ornate house in LA. Virtually all the songs on her 1995 debut album, Jagged Little Pill, have become pop anthems. Yet she displays none of the shades-after-dark swagger that is so often the badge of fame.
