SCOTT WALKER, mid-'60s pop star turned cult artist, makes Steely Dan look prolific and is about as visible as Syd Barrett. Recluse or not, Walker's last two albums, Climate Of Hunter (1984) and Tilt (1995) were enigmatic to the point of obscurantism.
