2011 introduction: From 1974-79 there was an Australia-wide rock 'n' roll touring circuit, headed by Sherbet. The peak was Sherbet's 1976 'Around Australia in 80 Days' tour, a frothy concoction of teen mania and record-breaking attendances. Sherbet reached #2 with 'Howzat!' on the UK Singles Chart in November 1976.
