So What's Wrong With Herman's Hermits?

CRINKLED NOSES and pained "ooohs" accompany ninety-five percent of the responses I receive when I tell people I like Herman's Hermits. But how can I help it? When everyone else is running around playing Santana or Chicago or Jethro Tull, how can I tell people I listen to Herman's Hermits? Ecch! I don't listen to them all the time, mind you, but when I do I feel like I'm into something good.
