Soup with Dido
David Quantick, Word, The, 2003
DIDO LIVES in Islington, along with half the Labour Party, the entire cast of EastEnders and the late Arthur Mullard, who used to sit outside the tube station for fun. She has a top house, all white and tan and shiny surfaces. New enough to still smell of chairs, Didos house has an actual music room with a piano in it, and a little garden at the end. The whole thing is quite idyllic, for North London, and I am quite surprised to be invited round, so Ive brought a bottle of wine.
