Spring: Spring
Tom Nolan, Rolling Stone, 17 August 1972
SPRING IS MARILYN and Diane Rovell who, as the Honeys, recorded such 45s as 'Surfin' Down the Swanee River', and urged: "Push 'em back! Push 'em back! Waaaay back!" on the Beach Boys' single, 'Be True to Your School' (though not on the LP version). Marilyn is Mrs. Brian Wilson, and Brian is executive producer of Marilyn and Diane's subconsciously long-awaited first album.
