WITHOUT WISHING to take anything away from the Fabulous Furry Finn Brothers, its hard not to feel a bit sorry for Squeeze. With a little luck, and a tad less Cockney rhyming slang, these durable purveyors of pure pop for now people might now be perched astride the throne currently occupied by Crowded House. Still, theyre not exactly doing badly.
