THE FACT THAT someone bothered to print the lyrics of Piledriver – there's a title safe from prosecution under the Trades Description Act – on the sleeve may not be reason enough to read them while listening to the record, but the words are hard to hear: Francis Rossi often sounds as if he's singing from the next room with variations in the number of people and the amount of furniture in there with him.
