NOW WE are six was a title conveniently borrowed from A. A. Milne to acknowledge that in 1973 Steeleye Span had finally decided to add a rock drummer. Today it has a dual purpose for it's just six years since Ashley 'Tyger' Hutchings succeeded in putting together a band capable of producing "a good English sound in the traditional idiom."
