THERE ARE numerous British groups who admire US units like the Byrds and the Band, but few, if any, have risen above the level of imitation. One of the first bands to successfully inject British creativity into the genre is the Sutherland Brothers & Quiver, and their arrival on the scene has to be one of the most pleasant surprises of this musical year. Currently inching their way up the Hot 100 with 'You Got Me Anyway', the group looks like it just might have a major smash on its hands. But before the air is filled with cries of "overnight sensations strike it rich", read on.
