WALES — the land of song. Yet when the FAB gang sat down and discussed how many pop singers we know who come from Wales, we only managed to think of three — Maureen Evans, Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones — and one group, The Interns. So I phoned Tom Jones in Cardiff and asked him how come there aren't more Welsh popsters. Well, any excuse for talking to Tom Jones is better than none.
